Marlin Youth Athletic Commission
Building Champions Through Athletics, Education, and Character
About MYAC
The Marlin Youth Athletic Commission (MYAC) is a nonprofit youth organization dedicated to providing affordable athletics, educational support, mentoring, and character-development programs to children and families in Marlin, Texas, and surrounding Central Texas communities. Our mission is to promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship through engaging youth programs that make a lasting impact on young lives. MYAC uses sports as a vehicle to develop well-rounded youth by offering football, basketball, track, cheer, camps, skills training, mentoring, academic support, community service opportunities, and college and career readiness programs. Through scholarship opportunities, MYAC helps youth attend college sports camps and gain exposure to higher education pathways and athletic opportunities. We also partner with local educators, community leaders, and Marlin High School coaches to provide additional support and mentorship for our participants.
Our coaching staff brings nearly 100 years of combined coaching experience, providing quality instruction and positive leadership to young athletes. MYAC currently offers football, basketball, track, and cheer programs and is actively pursuing partnerships with local organizations to expand opportunities in soccer, baseball, and softball. Our cheer and dance programs are led by a respected local dance instructor and former cheerleaders who help develop confidence, discipline, and performance skills in our youth. Rooted in Marlin but welcoming participants from surrounding communities, MYAC believes every child deserves access to quality youth programs regardless of financial circumstances. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive environment where youth can grow athletically, academically, and personally while building the confidence, character, and life skills needed for future success.

The College Exposure and Experience
MYAC is committed to expanding opportunities for youth by providing college exposure experiences and scholarship opportunities that help young athletes and performers pursue their educational and athletic goals. Through fundraising and community partnerships, MYAC helps sponsor deserving youth to attend college sports camps, where they can develop their skills, gain exposure to collegiate programs, and learn about higher education pathways. In collaboration with Marlin High School coaches, MYAC works to identify and support student-athletes by providing mentorship, training opportunities, and assistance where needed. Our cheer and dance programs are led by a respected local dance instructor and former cheerleaders who bring valuable experience, leadership, and mentorship to help participants grow in confidence, discipline, and performance skills.
